Gas regulation to Cooktop

We have lpg gas bottles and we have a nice ILVE cooktop installed. The cooktop is currently buring orange flames (at ends) on all of the burners. We have been advised this is not good, also it leaves all pots black. We need someone to correct the gas flow.
It is also very difficult to get a low level flame.
