The cold tap in my bathroom leaks unless I turn it off so tightly that my kids cannot turn it back on. The problem was seen to by a plumber 12 months ago. I remember it required a solution other than a new washer, but I cannot recall what... Possibly some sort of cracked/worn ring or part inside the tap itself. Anyway, it needs fixing again and hopefully this time it lasts.
