Draining and removal of two unknown tanks from home storage area

MON requested 3 quotes from Plumbers in Kew

I have purchased an old 1960's home and in it's storage area there are two tanks that I need removed. The size of each tank is around 1500h x 600d x 1500w.

I am not sure what is inside them, but it looks like they might be old oil tanks of some sort used for home heating. It appears that they are full, and quite heavy. I can provide photos which should make it much easier to know for a quotation.

The tanks have what looks like some pipe attached between them and the house, so this would need to be detached and crimped/removed, and for the tanks to be drained and removed.

The work outline would be:
- Detach pipes
- Drain tanks
- Remove tanks from storage area and take away

Ziggs Plumbing and Roofing

Ziggs have been helpful in offering to visit the home to look at what is needed to quote it properly. Some other contractors just sent me quotes without any conversation or real understanding of the task. I haven't used Ziggs yet, but I thought it was worth sharing this detail. When we are ready to do the work I will be calling them.
