We have a very thick, heavy pipe (steel or possibly cast iron??) that runs from outside the building into a bedroom and is cut off halfway down the wall. Consequently, when it rains, water leaks into the room via the pipe. Needs to be cut off and sealed - either inside or outside is ok. Could potentially be a tricky job as the outside pipe sits right next to power lines. Will probably need someone to look at it to accurately quote.
