Gas heating system is operational some minor problems with the contoller (eg start stops sometimes unexpectedly), but recently there is a smell coming from the heater (like kerosine) and some soot. It's under a bedroom window. Need to make sure it's safe and no more smells. Needs a full service and clean and safety checked. May consider having it replaced by a modern unit depending on Plumber advise and cost of service/efficiency versus replacement.
Also would like to have stove and Gas meter checked for gas leaks.
