Quotes required for a bathroom renovation for an apartment in Woolloomooloo. The bathroom design has been done and all fittings, tapware and tiles purchased. The bathroom is in an apartment block built in 1985, which is 3 metres long by 1.8 metres wide. The bathroom has masonry walls and a concrete slab floor. Renovations are planned for an October start.
Tasks which require quotes:
• Demolition and removal of old bathroom: removal of bath, vanity, and shower cubicle. Floor tiles laid on concrete slab removed along with all wall tiles. Toilet is to be left untouched. Removal of all demolished materials.
• Waterproofing.
• Plumbing for the installation of taps, basin and shower. A strip drain needs to be added. Two sets of taps need to be capped along with three drains.
• Tiling for the completion of the bathroom. The bathroom floor is to be tiled in 600mm x 600mm tiles, with the floor draining into the corner strip drip drain. The walls are to be tiled floor to ceiling with 300mm x 600mm tiles.
