Add a shower to an existing bath alcove

I have a bath that is fitted into an alcove surrounded by 3 walls. Above the bath are 1 row of tiles (300mmx600mm). Above the tiles is painted dry wall. The taps for the bath are located in the middle of the bath along the longest side of the bath. Add rail shower at the end of the bath. Where the rail shower will be located is dry wall so no need to remove tiles. I do not want to remove the tiles around the bath taps and spout. Hopefully plumbing can be accessed above the row of tiles.
