My parents require a storm water pit (approx 4-5 feet deep) with a submersible pump. Their house is on flat land and there isn't a great fall from the back of their house to the storm water outlet on the street. It's been suggested that the stormwater pit may need to be around 4-5 feet deep to give it the necessary fall.
