ground floor apartment. want to get quotes to install false ceiling (resilient mounts, acoustic barrier and acoustic bat) to prevent airborne and impact noise from 1st floor apartment. have 10cm of ceiling height to work with. 1960s building with concrete slab ceiling. job would also require pelmet to be replaced, resizing top cupboards of wardrobe and electrical rewiring. probably look at doing a couple of rooms first (2 bedrooms)to see how effective it was before doing rest of apartment.
