Small plaster repair job in Bathroom

I have a section of plaster on one Bathroom wall (near shower) that needs repairing (the slight water damage has caused the plaster to chip, bubble, and crack). I am getting the shower/tiles fixed on 20th Oct but need the plaster fixed before this if possible (so the caulking/sealing can be done on the fresh plaster).
