Stephen requested 3 quotes from Plasterers in Highett
My house is a 50s ex-commission double-brick home (interior walls are not plaster).
the ceiling in the living room suffered some substancial water damage with water coming down around the chimney.
the ceiling is very wet and so is some cornice. the room is musty and a textured coating on the ceiling has come away.
the existing cornice already has cracks numerous cracks and i would like some advice on whether to replace the damaged sections or the entire ceiling and cornice, and a quote to do the work.
i am not interested in keeping the textured covering, in fact i would like to remove it.
the work will not require any painting as i will do this myself.
