Re-do plastering in my stairwell
Sarah requested 3 quotes from Plasterers in North Melbourne
I have hard plaster (over brick) on the 1.9m wide back wall of a stairwell running from the ground floor to the first floor. The surface is very bumpy and the sides - where the hard plaster intersects with the plasterboard side walls - are incredibly rough. I need the edges and hard plaster re-done or, preferably, plasterboard fixed over the hard plaster (if that's possible; there seems to be enough space to do this).

Supplier came and measured up for the job and promised a quote in two weeks. It is now six weeks later and there has been no quote or, at the least, a courtesy call to say he couldn't do the job after all. Bit disappointing, especially when I had to get out of work to be home for the measure-up.
