Plastering of new internal stud wall

Nick requested 3 quotes from Plasterers in Holland Park

  Hi,

We have erected a new stud partition wall in our house. To finish the job we require a plasterer to put up the gyprock sheets and complete the plastering ready for painting. We also require some cornice to be installed on the new wall (both sides) so that it blends in with the existing cornice (60's era fluted cornice). It might be hard to get an exact match but welcome to suggestions on how to blend it in. Finally, it would be good if some insulation batts could be put in the wall before the sheets go up to help block some of the noise outside of the new room. Alternatively if there is a 10mm plasterboard with sound proofing that would be an option too.

The dimensions of the wall are roughly 3.3m long by 2.6m high. Since it is a small job i'm happy to just do hourly rate + materials if that works (i've never hired a plasterer before so not sure how it works). Please let me know a rough cost in your response if possible.

Note that I am not contactable generally during the day because of work but feel free to leave a voicemail or send an email.

Thanks,
Nick
