We have an old federation home with fibrous plaster ceilings. We'd like to put in recessed lighting but are afraid the ceiling will collapse when we put in the lights. We'd like someone to
1) give advice on a way to minimize the damage to the ceiling (and then give an estimate on patching where the holes will be)
2) quote on changing the texture of ceiling from a popcorn type celing to a smooth ceiling and
3) look at minor repair work throughout the house.
