Need a void filled, removing box air con, from shop, need theft proofing

The exisiting unit is in a store in preston. I am removing the exisiting box air con unit. After this is removed there will be a void that needs to be filled. The void needs to be break in proof as this is a money loaning shop. Above and below the box aircon there are metal bars, so something similar needs to go in the space. Some welding maybe required but i am unsure. I have taken photos of the area which i can send to you. It maybe better to just cement sheet the whole area.
