Our current ceiling has a dangerous sag and I want the whole lot ripped out and new plaster installed (we will remove the old plaster ourselves). We will be starting in the next 3-4 weeks and I need a couple of quotes first. Ceiling surface area is approx 52sq/m.

We're about to start renovating my 2 bedroom unit, we're going to knock out a wall between the kitchen/lounge and a hallway top open it right up. My ceiling is sagging really badly, the unit is about 20 years old and the plaster is a Gyprock style plasterboard, fixed directly to the roof trusses. The whole kitchen and lounge spans are sagging a good 50+mm! The trusses are fine, but the plaster has come away from the tursses towards the centre of the rooms. I need a quote to either lift/brace/screw existing plaster and patch where the internal walls will be removed, or to just remove the whole lot and fit new ceiling and cornices. The total area once the walls are removed is 5070 x 8550, approx 44m2 Avaliable after 5pm for an inspection if needed.
