We've been told the best thing is to cover the whole thing with plaster then repaint, but can't get anyone to quote. At a minimum we want someone to clean up and do the plastering, but if they can throw on an undercoat and top coat also all the better. It's about 12 square meters.

We are trying to do most of the work ourselves, but plastering is a crucial skill which we lack. The plastering already done was as much as we could afford.
