I need to have a drop/ suspended (fixed) gyprock ceiling removed, which is in a class A fire rated building. I would like the original timber ceiling separately treated with a newly approved intumescent paint to meet fire rating approval and will have a fire technician approve/ complete that job at a later date. The current false ceiling is 3.15m high and the ceiling/joists it is covering are another 80cm higher and so new gyprock may have to be added around the upper edges of the walls if necessary. How much would false ceiling removal + new gyprocking cost for 4m x 6m room? & do you have any photos of similar work you have completed? Thank you!
