Few things!! heritage related, repairing ceiling roses

I am looking for two things.
first, someone who will repair my ceiling roses!!! everyone just tells me to buy new ones, but these are the originals and they are decaying out the front of my home and i am dying to get the originals fixed but can not find anyone to do it!!!!
second is we have removed our fireplace surrounds in order to plaster and i am wanting to get them stripped, they have very complex bits of wood so i am considering this because i am thinking it is the easiest option? they have mirrors on them so need someone who knows what they are doing!!!
