Double brick single fronted terrace home has just been refooted. Front bedroom (4m x 4m) & Hall (1m x 8m) have plaster damage. Hard plaster cracking requires mortar repair and finishing (with hard plaster), sanding, painting with 2 coats of semi sheen. existing plaster cornicing doesn’t have to be replicated perfectly where damaged. Front door requires adjustment to ensure smooth closing. Property is tenanted.

Turned up on time for quote which was very cheap compared to others. As they were not prepared to provide quote in writing and the customer has to call to get the figure i felt some pressure to accept straight away. This may just be me but i felt unease with the situation and certainly would never accept a quote without taking time to consider all factors. In the end went with another business.

We decided to not go ahead with the job but were confident that the work would have been up to a high quality standard. A get what you pay for situation ass compared to other quotes these guys were 20% more expensive.
