Our kitchen floor is the ceiling of our bedrooms- exposed wooden floorboards. Had wee black bugs dropping on to bed from above (presumably) for last week or two since hot weather came on.
7 month baby has bites on face like little boil-ee pimples, have got in to wife's ear and scalp and caused unholy itching, treated with tea-tree oil. (EXTREMELY UNCOOL!)
Have seen both small black beetley bugs on sills, bed, wooden floor upstairs and carpet in bedrooms, and also greyish crawling lice-type bug on carpet in bedrooms.
House on market, needs to be done very quickly and very efficiently, preferably without baby-sensitive chemicals.
