Sand & Stain Merbau Deck and Side Screen

I have a ~38sqm rear deck plus ~16sqm side screen, both made of merbau.
Both are a couple years old and need re-staining.
Both have been previously stained with aquadeck and the in some areas the finish/stain has begun to peel, so sanding/stripping may be necessary.
I'm open to new suggestions on the type of stain to use - looking for something that will last longer than the aquadeck so please let me know what you recommend. Colour needs to be merbau/jarrah or similar colour. Two coats or more to establish lasting finish required.
Both are ground floor and have easy access through side gate.
Note - moving and replacement of some furniture prior will be required.
