Repaint of two entrance doors

Two houses, three entrance doors in total, all with glass inserts, need repaint using enamel paint. currently a bad paint job by builder in high gloss. would like a superior finish (similar to car duco finish). any brand of paint but needs to be weatherproof especially for direct afternoon sunlight. colour - currently royal blue haymes but wanting to change to navy blue or charcoal, and if available, a metallic finish/paint.

When you hire someone on a daily rate of $500 you expect they\'ll work through the day to earn their money. Day 1 - except for spending an hour going over the job list and another hour at Bunnings and about 30 minutes on the telephone, HAH worked well. Day 2 - as the owners weren\'t home HAH worked 4-5 hours and got paid for a full 7.5-8 hour day. Days 3 and 4 - not needed as I wasn\'t going to pay good money for laziness. I paid $1k cash and asked HAH to leave. Quote was verbal and 1 hour after I asked HAH to leave he called me requesting payment of $100 to cover materials. Considering the inital quote was verbal [and its now he said / she said situation] - all I can say is the simple line - \"the cheque is in the mail\". HAH said he could do a lot but his work ethic left a lot to be desired. And for the record HAH said I was the only person unimpressed by his work ethic. Never will I use HAH franchise again!.
