Painting an internal wall in a flat in an apartment block.

I put a hole in the wall at waist height that has now been repaired and needs painting over. The wall is approx 4 m wide. On the right hand side of the wall it\'s height is normal ceiling height, however on the left side it rises up to almost double the ceiling height due to the angle of the roof (we are the top flat). It may be that we can get away with not painting all the way up to the point of the ceiling on the left as the paint I have is an excellent match to the existing paint.
