We currently moved to an old house on a property and I believe it has mould coming from rising damp. It has very warped flooring as the stumps have shifted and the inside walls are cladding and have a lot of gaps, the outer walls are weather board and I don’t think there is any insulation between them as you can see daylight through some of the gaps. I cleaned the walls and some had very black dust which I’m hoping was just dust not mould. We work for the people who own the farm and the house is part of the package so I would need to ask them first if the inspection could happen.
It’s a 4 bedroom home , main bedroom has a small hot water tank in the small walk in robe which smells a little musty. The others also smell a bit but one is worse then the others and the living area outside of these rooms also smells. I’m not sure on sizes of the rooms sorry. Also there is visible mould on the ceiling of the closed in carport that is now an enertaining area. This mould is just outside the main bathroom.
