General service plus transmission light fix

car needs a general service. last service was at 120,000km (currently at 126,000) which was 10 months ago.
the transmission light has turned on also, so that needs fixing. the same thing happened 6 months ago and it turned out to be a hole in the spark plugs, and the whole coil pack had to get replaced. being an O/S make (2001 Astra), the new coil pack set me back over $400 incl labour! hopefully this is not the problem again though...
also the aircon may need a checkover... saw some gaseous air coming out of the vent last week...
