The car is a sedan version. the burglars tried to open the passenger door first by inserting a screw driving and twisting. they gave up when this didn't work then went to the drivers side door and simply inserted something and punched the whole lock in, and gained access. i only want to repair the drivers door. the reason i'm am using this site is no one can tell me if i need to find a whole new handle/ lock unit from the wreckers first. ideally i don't want seperate keys for the door and the ignition. hoping someone knows the answer!
