Pebble/gravel laid on an indoor theatre stage

Approx 20m x25m x100mm deep. Pebbles/gravel are needed to cover an indoor theatre stage for a Drama performance at Victorian College of the Arts, Space 28, at listed address. We would like a variation of pebbles/gravel in a in a specific design - approx 3 varieties. The pebbles will need to be laid on something like carpet underlay so as to protect the timber floor stage.
We would welcome the use of any product that could be 'bought back' by the company we use so as not to create waste at the end of the performance season. Performance opens March 24 (needs to be laid approx 2 weeks prior). To be removed approx 2 April.
