Landscaping where a large tree has been removed

A large tree was removed next to my paved driveway. The paving needs to be pulled up, the ground leveled and repaved using same pavers. Approx 5m x 6m.
Also, I have a sloping section of my backyard, approx 12m x 6m. I would like to have some steps shaped into the slope. I'd also like some suggestions for planting natives afterwards.
