Rear site originally sloped down to back of house. we have excavated to create a flat space off the back of the house of approximately 70 sqm (up to about about 1.3 metre high dirt removed). we have already installed the left and right side timber sleeper retaining walls on boundaries. we have laid road base and have 7 concrete pits ready to go. part of the area to be paved is two tiered.
we need:
1) install landscape drainage - dig trenches (heavy clay base), install pipes to concrete pits and connect to storm water down right side of house (there is a trench down side of house dug ready for final pipe and storm water connection).
2) prepare site and pave - get the right levels, and pave approximately 35 sqm. a two tiered section that will include 2 steps.
3) design advice - on the central feature wall and sloping path up to rear garden
our budget is $7,000 - 10,000 (total labour and materials etc) and we are looking for a fixed price. we are ready to go now and would like the job complete by end august.
we would most probably source the paving flagstones, bullnose, and step risers (say 400 by 400 mm) direct, through a close contact.
