Hi,
I am contacting you for a quote to construct an engineered designed retaining wall on a vacant block of land. Our home builder originally factored in 6m brick veneer retaining wall plus roughly 1.8m of timber retaining wall down the blind side of the property in the home plans however we now need to extend this retaining wall (another 13,980mm approximately) parallel to the back corner of the proposed home.
Our engineer has advised, "As the majority of your soil retaining height is 600mm you are looking at a footing depth of 1700mm for a 450 diameter pad or 1500mm deep for a 600mm diameter pad footing."
The engineer has provided the full specs for the retaining wall including specific materials to use. Please email me and I can send you the full details for your perusal.
