We live on a corner block that has already been subdivided, so instead of a backyard, we have a section of our front yard fenced off as a courtyard. the courtyard is on the street side of the property and is accessed through a door from the house and a side path that leads to the back of the house.
the courtyard is approx 5m x 7m. there is currently a tall timber picket fence surrounding the courtyard that might be able to be reused although we would like to relocate it and paving that needs to be removed and replaced.
we are also looking at having a built-in bar along one side of the new fence and a built -in bench along another side.
obviously at this stage we are just wanting to get quotes and possibly other ideas.
