Ecobee support have told me that to get it working, we will need to power the Ecobee using a 12VAC transformer, and figure out if and how the existing two wires can connect to the Ecobee. I can provide photos of the circuitry on the furnace and the existing thermostat. I cannot find any circuit diagrams for the Braemar, I have even tried calling them directly. It would be good to work with someone who has experience with smart thermostats that may have encountered this situation before. Thanks, Kate
