Hi, I'm wanting to get some quotes for someone with a van, or small truck to pick up an electric recliner chair from Greensborough, and deliver it to Albanvale (St.Albans). If the price is right, and my parents are happy, then it could be only a few days, but for now, I'll say a couple weeks. I'm posting this for my parents as my dad has cancer, and is 82, and now sleeps in his recliner in the lounge room. It has been difficult for me to do the job, as I have an injury, and I can't lift anything heavy. I will have to co-ordinate it as the chair is at my auntie's place, and will need to be delivered to my parent's place. The big problems are: The chair will have to be picked up after hours 7pm during the week, or in the afternoon on a weekend. I haven't seen the chair, but I am told it will need 2 people to carry it, as it's heavy. The driveway at the pick-up address is very steep. The delivery address is easy to access, and someone will always be there, but no one will be able to help carry it, but it only needs to be left into the lounge room, which is pretty much just inside the door, off the corridor.
