We are in need of a re-fit of our ceiling insulation. We have old fibre-glass insulation that needs to be removed and disposed of, and changed over to a modern high R-value batt that is at least 5,... We are in need of a re-fit of our ceiling insulation. We have old fibre-glass insulation that needs to be removed and disposed of, and changed over to a modern high R-value batt that is at least 5, but ideally 6 or more. We also have a tin roof that has no insulation. At first inspection of the ceiling, it seems that there is room to either push insulation past through the joists, or at worst blow insulation into the cavities under the tin part or the roof. There is plenty of room in the ceiling cavity to move around and work, and there is access to the tin section within the ceiling. Our address is 4 Robert Street, balwyn North. Google maps should give an idea of the area of both the tin section and standard terracotta tile roof section. You must have experience with ceiling insulation installation, follow the Victorian state government requirements, guarantee your work and ideally be an accredited installer. If you can assist, please let me know.
