We are finishing our house extension and just a few more jobs to complete, these include: - Front Patio and Steps: we are replacing the original patio which is single brick skin and (cracked)... We are finishing our house extension and just a few more jobs to complete, these include: - Front Patio and Steps: we are replacing the original patio which is single brick skin and (cracked) concrete slab. It will involve bricking up from footing to deck height, and then continuing up to around waste high two brick piers to support the patio roof. - Box Window - We are replacing bricking up from footing around a box window. - Double brick wall at back of garage. There is some existing brick work from original garage - we will be pulling down some bricks, installing a new lintel, and then bricking back up. - Bricking in a fire place surround plus flue. This will involve cutting out some old bricks and replacing them with fire bricks, bricking a front face of the fire place to conceal the gather, and then continuing the bricks up around the flue so that the flue is surrounded by masonry. This brick work is set against the outer corner of the above mentioned Garage wall and will form part of it. - Brick Privacy Screen - The above mentioned back garage wall and fireplace are all adjacent to a second story deck. As that wall and chimney go up, they form part of a privacy screen for the neighbours. This will be completed with a hatched section of brick work where bricks are spaced apart and then finished with a header course. I imagine there is a few days work here. Happy for you to quote on a day rate (if that is possible). Can provide plans with elevations.
