The balcony rail is positioned part way across the balcony and by moving it to the edge of the balcony we will gain an additional 40cm of usable balcony space. We would like to keep the existing rail, but unbolt it and resecure it to the edge of the balcony. The structural pole must stay in place. It will also involve cutting in to the neighbours railing by 30cm. Permission has been granted by the strata committee members for the job to be carried out subject to the following: 1. Compliance with the Strata Scheme Management Act 1996 By-Law 5 Damage to Common Property and By-Law 17 Appearance of lot, of the Strata Schemes Management Act 1996. 2. Installation must comply with local Council regulations. 3. Installation to be carried out by qualified tradespeople.
