Our Cordon Bleu gas cooktop (circa 1988) has a gas leak under the glass top. A plumber/gas fitter detected the leak near where the cook top joins the gas line. He said he couldn't fix and we'd need a new one. I think a skilled welder should be able to fix it, but would need to test for gas leaks afterwards.
