We are looking for someone interested in mowing our neighbourhood nature strip approximately every two weeks. The strip of grass runs for a length of eight terrace houses in South Melbourne... We are looking for someone interested in mowing our neighbourhood nature strip approximately every two weeks. The strip of grass runs for a length of eight terrace houses in South Melbourne (approximately half the block). Google Street View says it's 46 metres in length, but an exact measurement can be provided tomorrow. There are several trees on the nature strip, so we'd also need the person to whipper-snipper around the trees. From time to time various neighbours may want to keep the lawn clippings (for compost), but we'd prefer someone who has the capacity to take away the waste if need be (and to quote a price with/without removal of the clippings). Although all the neighbours will contribute to the cost, whoever wins the job would be dealing with just one neighbour who would be responsible for scheduling and paying for the work. We are of course looking for a total price for the whole strip - preferably discounted on the basis that it should be reliable, consistent work for a long duration of time (subject to the neighbours being happy with the work). Photos of the nature strip can be provided on request.
