We have a colour bond garage that due to an extension, has one panel which adjoins a brick wall. Unfortunately, the owner before me used the neighbour’s brick wall and it now has to be taken down.... We have a colour bond garage that due to an extension, has one panel which adjoins a brick wall. Unfortunately, the owner before me used the neighbour’s brick wall and it now has to be taken down. Currently, the brick wall is 3m high and it will need to be taken down to from 3m down to 2m high. As a result, we need to have a colour bond wall put up in its place. The remainder of the garage is all intact, it is simply one section. The brick wall was not a load bearing wall and from the information I have so far received, it shouldn’t take more than a few hours. The measurements of the colour bond wall required are: H – 3m L – 3.5m The job needs to be started within a fortnight (hopefully sooner). We are available to provide access on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I can provide access from Monday to Wednesday also, however it will not be myself in attendance. Ideally, I would like the tradesman to work/reside on the west side of town. As I have explained, it is not a big job and shouldn’t take more than a few hours. I do not wish to be paying for travel time if you are travelling from the other side of the city. If you are able to do the job, start the job within a week (or two at the latest), and able to provide a written quote within 2 business days of inspecting the site, please respond. Sorry to be specific on the above requirements, only I have posted this job previously and have been disappointed by the responses and lack of follow up.
