There is nothing wrong with the tiled roof itself. Each of the gable sections of the roof where the fascia is, the roof tiles over hang past the edge of the gable edge. There is a trim piece of... There is a trim piece of wood that follows the length of the gable fascia and it is positioned directly under the edge of the overhanging roof tile. This trim piece needs replacing everywhere either in wood again or aluminium. The mortar that sits between the overhanging tile and the trim piece is ok. Perhaps the whole fascia should be covered with an aluminium fascia cover - I dont know, and I am open to some suggestions
