From the street you can see that a part of the external roof in the centre join has uplifted. It just looks like it has come away - the roof is metal (tile look) - and the house is a queenslander... The room where the leak is is in the sunroom on the side of the house. (Previously there was a gutter leaking near this area which was fixed but there appears to be damage now further in from the gutter causing the leak). I have contacted a larger roof repair company who has said both jobs are too small for them to do - so I expect it does not require any major replacements - just perhaps some sealing and a proper inspection, not a complete roof replacement as such.
