The property is a single / double storey structure of unusual design built some 55 years ago. it is unusual in that the single storey unit (the front part of the dwelling) has been constructed of solid concrete, some 8" to 10" thick; the rear part of the dwelling is double storey, timber framed and clad with cement sheeting. the entire property has been sprayed with some type of compound shell grit and resin paint that originally formed a textured finish over all external surfaces. - - at one stage there was some form of creeper on the wall of the weather side and, following the breakdown of the finish due to the weather ingress on the walls, large areas of bare cladding became apparent. the other three sides of the house are in good condition and do not require significant revision. there is also a garage on the property that is of similar construction (cladding) and with the same sprayed finish. - - what i have in mind is to have the weather side of the house cleaned of the creeper residue and the existing textured finish. the house could then be rendered or textured overall, the garage finished to complement the residence and, basically, restore the property to better condition than is currently the case. i would welcome a visit from one of your estimators to survey the situation and offer whatever services you have available.
