House is mid-late 1940's (?) weatherboard "Californian Bungalow". Floorboards are polished Baltic Pine. There are gaps between boards and making house quite cold. The 4 front rooms are exposed floorboard - these rooms and hallway require underfloor insulation – and are about 64 sq metres in surface area. House is on a very slight slope, the front being higher than the back. Clearance from ground to floor joists is around 40 cm. These rooms are which are at the front the house and offer the most clearance from ground. It can still be a tight fit to work under house. Not sure of what the best technology is for underfloor insulation.
