i plan to have polystrene sheets precut into 400mm width by 2400 long. i need them to be attached ( liquid nail or simular ) to the underside of the floor boards for insulation. this will require... i plan to have polystrene sheets precut into 400mm width by 2400 long. i need them to be attached ( liquid nail or simular ) to the underside of the floor boards for insulation. this will require working in the crawl space. there is entery and the heigh clerance is betweem 400 to 600 mm. i have calculated that i will require 35 1200 by 2400 sheet. they will be cut into three make around 105 sheet to fix.

2 bedroom weatherboard house (approx. 11m x 11m). 2/3 house original- old insulation in roof cavity- looks like it was sprayed in there a long time ago (& may just be dust!). Other 1/3 house is a... 2 bedroom weatherboard house (approx. 11m x 11m). 2/3 house original- old insulation in roof cavity- looks like it was sprayed in there a long time ago (& may just be dust!). Other 1/3 house is a more recent extension (1980s or 1990s?) with a flat roof. Insulation installed in limited roof space when extension was built. I believe we are eligile for the insulation rebate for the old part of the house but I would need to check the depth of the insulation in that area or get an expert's opinion on it.
