Installation of Sub-Floor Insulation Batts Under Existing Floor

We have an existing property and would like to install insulation batts under the subfloor. Access to the subfloor for the 3x rooms where the batts are to be installed is reasonably good as the house is quite elevated, however we also have heating ducts under the subfloor so some spots might be a little tight. The subfloor has good manhole access for bringing in materials.
I will supply the batts - which will be Polyester Green Batts (no itch) - likely R3.5 / 4.0.
