The house is on 3 levels with a large roof area, there are no ceilings so the space for insulation is limited to about 150mm. The house is 35 years old and has some very ineffective insulation only about 25mm thick which is now mostly broken up and not providing any insulation. Access to the roof is easy and the pitch is not steep so no ladders required on the roof.
