4 bedroom house (171sq totaly roof area - Never insulated

Total roof area 171sq metres / The house is basically square 14x14m, minus 15m gap plus 3m wall protusion - Take out the joists etc and probably 20-30sq metres off the 171sq metres / I want to know what sort of insulation is used, the rating etc.
I would like the rebate to cover the cost of insulation and going by this website, if the average house costs $1200.00 I should be safe at $1600.00.
I have a manhole via the bathroom so roof access is easy but I do have some down lights. I'm keen to get this done as soon as possible.
A reply either way would be appreciated.
