Hall Cleaning Position Description June 2018
The successful cleaning contractor will be expected to keep the premises clean tidy safe and healthy at all times and provide the following minimum services:--

Details:
Early Sunday mornings:-
When the Hall has been booked for use on a Saturday, the Cleaner will be expected to check that the casual hirer has completely cleaned the Hall and left everything as it should be including
the bin area outside. The cleaner will do all the tasks that are listed under Saturday on a Weekly Basic on a Sunday.


Early Monday mornings:-
Inspect all areas and report and damage or mess or other relevant matters left by weekend casual hirer to Hall Booking Officer and clear/ clean up as required. Ensure adequate soap and paper in all toilets.

Monday to Friday on a Daily Basis:-
Toilets
Vacuum/sweep and mop and disinfect all floors, Wash and disinfect walls, tiles and doors as required. Clean and disinfect toilet bowls, walls, handles, fittings and porcelain in cubicles.
Mop and disinfect urinal area, disinfect all surfaces, hand basins, taps, bench tops, splash backs, dryers, dispensers, handles and mirrors in all toilets.

Empty bins and replace bin liners, replace toilet paper and soaps as required in all toilets.

Saturday on a Weekly Basis
Entrance and outside
Check that the bin area is tidy and clean up and report to Booking Officer if not satisfactory.
Sweep steps and ramp and spot clean windows and doors.
Vacuum, dust and wash walls and doors as required in reception area and internal walkways.
Clear outside down pipes, remove cobwebs, clean BBQ and area around and pick up litter outside.
Wipe window ledges, brush screens.
Toilets
Vacuum/sweep and mop and disinfect all floors, Wash and disinfect walls, tiles and doors as required. Clean and disinfect toilet bowls, walls, handles, fittings and porcelain in cubicles.
Mop and disinfect urinal area, disinfect all surfaces, hand basins, taps, bench tops, splash backs, dryers, dispensers, handles and mirrors in all toilets.

Empty bins and replace bin liners, replace toilet paper and soaps as required in all toilets.
Main Hall
Vacuum/sweep, dust, and mop Main Hall floor as required including stage and areas behind stage, including clean and disinfect single toilet and sink.
Ensure all tables and chairs are laid out as required and wipe down and disinfect tables and chairs as required to ensure all are clean.
Empty bins and replace bin liners, replace toilet paper and soaps as required in toilet.
Main Kitchen
Vacuum/sweep, mop and disinfect floor. Wipe down and disinfect all stainless work surfaces and splash backs, and sweep underneath. Clean basins and sinks.
Empty bins and replace bin liners, replace soap.
Check fridges, wipe down handles and interiors.
Clean fridges inside and out and discard any old food, in kitchens.
Clean dishwasher, clean exhaust fan and spot clean walls and windows in Main kitchen.
Small Hall
Vacuum/sweep, dust, and mop Small Hall floor as required.
Wipe down and disinfect all surfaces in kitchenette area.
Ensure all tables and chairs are laid out as required and wipe down and disinfect tables and chairs as required to ensure all are clean.
Empty bins and replace bin liners.

KPIs for the cleaning contractor
No complaints about cleaning standards.
No complaints about adequate supplies, bin liners, toilet rolls and soap.
All casual hirers breeches of conditions are reported.
