FORNIGHTLY LONG TERM CLEANER: We are looking for a great cleaner – someone who promises to do the very best job. Sadly we have had several cleaners who have come into our home and ripped us off – so we are very cautious now. The clean is for a tidy house of a working family – you will not be picking junk up off floors – it is for a true house clean. We are a genuine family and only want a genuine, reliable person – who will come in and do the job they said they would. NO AGENCIES please – we would rather a local, reliable person without paying for fees that are supposed to be for a guaranteed better, reliable clean.
SO about the house: It takes me around 3-4 hours to do the house properly.
4 bedroom, 1 study, 1 lounge, 1 dining, 1 family room, 1 main bathroom (no bath, glass shower, double basin, toilet), 1 ensuite (shower, basin toilet) , 1 powder room (toilet & basin), laundry, kitchen. All floors are either polished boards or slate… no carpets
The Clean: this should be standard stuff for a good cleaner
1) Bathrooms – a detailed thorough clean is mandatory, no ‘short cut’ quick wipes of the toilet seats , toilet base, basins etc
2) Bedrooms – thorough vac (we have a Dyson ) including under the beds, behind the bedheads, behind the side tables. Dust flat surfaces.
3) Kitchen: (no cleaning of oven or microwave) clean stove top, sinks, taps, wipe bench-tops, cupboards and skirts
4) Laundry: clean sink, wipe flat surfaces, cupboards
5) Family room: apart from floors – vac between cushions on sofas
6) Floors: vac’d and in the wet areas - mopping
7) Dust – where you see dust.
